I think its time for a new ESC for my Sprint. At the moment I have a Duratrax Intellispeed 8T rev. ESC. I don't like it because it seems when the battery starts to dump, the car starts to twitch, and the steering becomes somewhat lost, while my cousin, who has a LRP F1 Pro revese, doesn't.

So I think I'm gonna get a new ESC. The main thing I'm looking for is QUALITY. Price isn't too much of an issue since I'm broke anyway:p but I don't need to have the ''best ESC ever.'' Oh yeah, I don't need reverse, but would rather have it. I'm going to be using the ESC with stock and mod motors. Any suggestions?

I've been looking at the same thing here of late. The Novak Dually looks good, but I don't know much about them. Of course, there's always the GT7, but I don't know that I need that much speed control. What's the other side of the story - surely LRP or someone makes some good speed controls as well, I just haven't found them yet. Anyone know where they can be found?

in my own opinion, i think the duratrax streak is awsome. I have thrown 11turn(12 turn limit) motors at it, and it is stil not too hot. ANd it has an easy setup. And for only $40.

GM makes decent ESC and all models except the SX9 can take 4-10cells.

shadmaster4 - Indeed, the Streak is the best bang for the buck right now. Its what I've run for some time. It's never given me any problem, and never overheats at the track even running my 14x2 KR. I would, however, like to have something that's actually rated for something like an 8x1 so that I don't give the streak any excuse to go nuclear on me.
