Hello!

I've finally finished my slightly modified RFFS-100 controlled Pixel and flown it.
I'm using the DWE hybrid actuators. I actually broke the frame for one of the actuators and had to repair and strengthen it with ,4mm ply. But that should have nothing to do with my problem.

You see, when I fly my Pixel, the actuators move unintentionally in a jittery fashion. It seems range related but can't be reproduced on ground. The jitters only occur in flight. Could it be motor interference? I'm using a regular KP-00...

Flying close, inside 5m (5yds) it flies like a dream, and is very entertaining. But outside that, jitters..!

Anyone?

It sounds like the antenna, crystal or power leads are vibrating loose in flight. You can make pin terminations from .020" brass wire for the power / antenna leads - it connects firmly in the sockets. What are you using for your antenna? Is it mounted next to CF rods, etc.?

All good trouble shooting ideas... I smashed my poor little Pixel during a tree rescue..! (I know! You're supposed to steer away from them...). I'll use the opportunity to check and re-solder all connections.
