GWS EPS motor brush type ?

does anyone know what type of brushes are used on the 280 and 370 EPS units ? the 280 ones look like brass wipers to me but i dont want to take it apart. the reason i ask is to determine if any run in is required.

GWS EPS motors, no matter 280 STD or 370 DX, both come with carbon brush.
