usually is alotta people running fm over am here.some people still insist that am is not as good as fm.fm is suppose to be less likely for interference and thats why most use it.ive used my am radio for 3 years and never had any inteference probs or glitching even with running along 12 other cars
f.m is suppose to better for less interference

Right, most racers(that can afford to) do use FM radios to control their cars, but you can run with an AM one if neccessary. FM simply does a better job of preventing interference than AM. think about it this way, try listening to an AM radio station & an Fm radio station, & you'll notice that the AM one is generally noisier, more easily interfered with(you can tell just by driving under an overpass on the highway), while FM stations stay pretty darn strong & clear until you reach the outer edges of the signal's range. And it basically works the same way for R/C, but both are still useable(so if you have an AM radio & want to race, go ahead & race, don't be too worried about it)...........

AM is a srong signal and is fine for racing. I race with an fm radio only because I have a graphite chassis and that will/can cause glitching with an AM radio more easily than with a FM radio.

I used to race with the stock evader transmitter, untill i got an mx-3. Here, it is actually kinda better to have am, because less people have it. I dont really notice any difference between the two.
