Wassup fellow R/C Racers! I got a question for you guys. I just got me an aftermarket steering wheel for my Futaba 3pdf control. I can see how the new one goes on. It's a screw in the very middle. The stock one might have that but if so, how do I get to it? I don't want to break anything. How do I take off the stock wheel?

Just gently pull off the middle cover piece and you'll see the single screw that holds it on,just like your replacement.

Some use a press on cover, some are a decal. But something will come out of the middle then you can get to the screw.

NO the middle is not a solid piece I've got a futaba like your's and have replaced the steeringwheel myself,it is a round plastic piece that snaps out just be careful take your time and don't force it,use a small flat blade screwdriver to pry it out.I know it looks solid but it isn't how do you think they got the wheel on in the first place?

i was getting it out as you were writing that. lol. still, thanx. futaba did do a good job on making it look like one solid piece. fooled the hell out of me.
