Music wire?

Hey guys, i'm new to r/c and just wanted to know what the heck is music wire? Piano strings? thanx. :eek:

Music wire is lengths of straight wire found in hobby shops. It is "spring steel" and comes in a variety of diameters. Some hardware stores carry it.

It may have started that way or the diameters are the same.
