top speed for my t3?

hello all

What gears would you all recommend to get the top speed (NOT acceleration) out of my truck? I have a Reedy Reedy Sonic 2 10 Turn double motor and am going to (like I kinda have to 'cause the Tamiya plugs are melted) put on Dean's Ultra plugs on all the applicable connections.

Basically looking for top speed here, not acceleartion (for now)

I guess another question is, what about acceleration *(for later)

also using Duratrax 8T ESC w/ reverse (can be locked out)

also suggest a really good battery pack for this if you have any suggestions. Basically I have a variety of different 2400s and a 3300 but they are used (as in I am not their original owner!) and looking for some better ones to possibly race with. I'll keep these as bashers.

Good batteries. You have to build them your self though, but thats pretty easy.

First of all for gearing get an aray of different pinions so you can play with the gearing lots. If your using an average sized off road tire and a 87t spur get a set of pinion from 15t-19t and that will cover you for most mod motors. Now if you want top speed and your using off road sized tires you will probably want a 21t+ pinion and a 87t spur.

They will assemble the packs for $6 each at Promatch.I think that's the way to go their packs are great.
