Where can'I get 40 mhz receivers on-line?, All I can find is 27 and 75.:(

You can order them from overseas. I picked up a 40MHz Lynx 3D while stationed in Korea.

i think there are laws against 40 band....in the US atleast...

I'm thinking about getting a black van putting some of those black steel rims on it, spraying FCC on the side and get big ass antennas on the roof! Plus the blue and white flasing lights in the headlights...

Drive it to one of the flying fields and ask around to see everyones AMA licence and to see their radio equipment.

Bet it'd give a bunch of the rc airplane guys a nice rush... a rush of fear! Muhahhahah

BTW the reason you don't want to get 40 in the US is that that frequency is reserved for other uses thus its possible you'd get interference on that band.

Its best to stay on the reserved bands....

i know people who use 40mhz here in canada without anyproblems

only times the FCC will really be on your ass if you are producing those 40mhz frequencies at like 3km radius or more
