GWS has a mini servo weight 0.86 oz only, with three different choice of gear ratios which I named them: standrad (0.19sec)with 58 oz-in torque, fast (0.15sec)with 47 oz-in, xtra-fast (0.12sec) with 38 oz-in.

Mini servo was specially designed for non-powered or electric flyer's demand. Light & compact size design. The most beatiful things
they are equipped with latest developed IC, performance with great resolution almost like digital servo did. Priced at the same range as most standard servo did!!!

Check the detail spec at GWS web-site: http://servoman.hypermart.net/english

They were sold to many countries since 2 year
ago. Especially, very popular in Japan and Germany. However, not been widely spreded in USA. Wish USA ditributors & dealers will keep stock soon. May be need you guys to tell them this the one you need for park & backyard flying!

Good luck, happy flying!

Dear Mr. Lin,

Thank you for informing us.
If they are very precise and lightweight, they would make excellent aileron servos, especially the Fast and Xtra-fast ratios!
I am still looking forward to you producing a 3 gram servo. The ones I have are too expensive and delicate.
I lightened my R-4P receiver to 4.1 grams, which is very nice.
I heard rumors that you were developing smaller and lighter components than the Pico series.

Dear John,

Thanks for your caring about GWS products.

GWS Mini servo at 0.86oz, the MSRP in USA should be less than $10, with single ball race may be $12. We even have Mini-Lite version ( inside of servo driven by B-2 motor! ) with faster & stronger out put yet
weight 0.77g only. MSRP $13, & $15 with ball race. Gear train is very srong as most standard size servo did, should be a great choice for Speed 400, 600 electric airplanes or big gliders.

But don't use this servo for gas powered motor models, since this a direct drive pot such as Naro & Pico servo, engine vibration will hurt servo pot, make it die quick!

3g servo will later, due to this size pot & motor life duration is not so well! Still need find a better solution, I don't like to see flyer spend $28 for GWS Tiny 3g servo but did not have a resonable life time which may be other company not care about! Pls, give us little more time to correct this problem.

GWS also make R4P receiver with JST connector version with lighten ant. wire which will be 3.6g full size 1M ant can fly at outdoor aproximate 1000feet. You also can cut ant to be 50cm, the weight will be brough down as light as 3.0g only to fly indoor with 500feet usable range.

I will post this as another subject to bring GWS R4P users attention too.

Thanks a lot of your support to GWS.
