I am thinking of getting into electric and I was wondering if the txt-1 was a good truck to start out with?I am just going to use it for bashing.

The TXT-1 is a little slow stock, and a little expensive for a first-timer. If I were you I'd look into Hpi, Associated, Losi or Traxxas for their trucks.

The txt-1 is a great truck to build and play with, but if no one lese int he area runs the same style or rock craws, it could get old fast.

What about a duratrax evader? For less than $170, this truck is very durable.Any plastic part you break on your first year, they will replace. You can get it as a truck or a buggy.
