I am new to e-flight and was wondering what the proper method to break-in a park flyer motor is. I just received my Lil Hornet kit from Dave Thacker and it comes with a Johnson 2.4V motor. I read a recent magazine review where the reviewer ran his motors under water connected to a single 1.5V cell. What do you guys do??

That might be a good thing to do with speed 400 motors that you can take apart to dry. For parkfliers, run a 2 packs worth of charge through the motor at low speed (1/4 throttle or less) with a prop on the motor. This should be sufficent.
Hope this helps,
Al
