Anyone know what car this is?

A neighbor gave this to me for free. Anyone have any clue what it might be? It runs fine, just would like to know what model it is so i can get some parts for it, not to mention an ESC..lol

I think it's a Tamiya TL-01, but I can't be sure (I don't know much about Tamiya cars)

definitly a tl01. my buddy owns one. they are a tough car, ans great for bashing, but slow.

get a cheap esc for it (lrp sport) and something around a 19 turn motor, and it will be a great play car.

thanks for the info. thats wut im planning to do with it. its got my old Ruby motor in there, so all it basically needs are new wheels and an ESC. thanks for the recommendation, i was wondering what a good cheap esc was...=)

Would anyone happen to know what parts i need to transform this TL01 to an off road buggy(TL01B)?

is it as simple as getting longer arms, suspension, etc?

it likely is, i think most of the chassis is the same. longer a-arms and dogbones would do it from tamiya. i would get adjustable turnbuckles and some hot bodies aluminum shocks, as well as some hpi ralley tires to complete the package.
