I can empathise with Spoolin' leaving the hobby. It can be fristrating to be in it sometimes, from both the racer and hobbyist POV:

- If you're a racer, at some point you sit back and realize you're spending lots of money and hours and hours a week in preparation for 20 minutes of competition. And if your like me, racing is either far too competitive and serious or they don't do any racing you'd like to do locally.

- If you're a hobbyist, as Spoolin' appears to be, you get limited in your body and wheel choices, and the bodies aren't very scale. If you want to customize the chassis, and not just bolt on aftermarket parts, it can require some complex work if you expect accuracy and a good finish.

Building small scale models gives you a better detail level and sense of accomplishment than building R/Cs, and certainly more variety.

Thanks a lot Spoolin! You are the one who got me into drifting and gave RC a good new area. Thanks for all the help! Good luck with all of the glueing and what-not! Drop by every now and then! We will miss you dearly. (wow, I have only known him since I registered in February and now I feel like his leaving has made a dent in RCD). Will anyone be updating the site anymore?

I have most likely sold my pro 3 drifter, and im looking at selling my R32 GT-R body.

I will also be selling my new E Maxx (driven 3 times)

I will pop round here now and then.

I May sell my other pro 3 (couple of small things missing on it)

But i will have to see.
