I have a Sprint, and well the drivetrain pretty much sucks. It vibrates a lot. Its always been like this but now its serious 'cause I'm trying to start racing. Anything I can do other than get another touring car.

The Sprint has bearings right? If not, that could be your problem. If it does, then maybe they are worn or dirty. Is the belt tensioner correctly adjusted? A mate of mine has a Sprint, and he suffers from a sloppy drivetrain due to a broken belt tensioner

Yeah its got bearings. I think they're OK but maybe I'll oil them. Remember, Its been like this pretty much since the first day I got it but now it sucks 'cause I'm gonna start racing.:(

i had the exact same problem, only my car started shaking after about 2 weeks of use. Then eventualy it got to the point where when i'd run it the body would be vibrating really bad, (embarrasing at the race track. to me it is) but i was working with my car one day and my belt tensioner fell off, ofcourse i lost it and never found it, and i decided to run without the belt tensioner, well when i ran my car it ran smooth, to his day every since i lost the belt tensioner it hasn't vibrated at all.

I run with the belt tesionor very lightly pressing on the belt, it vibrates. Maybe I'll try actually tightening the belt tensionor tommaro. But one thing I did notice was that when my Sprint was RWD it ran much smoother.

yes i know its the front belt thats vibrating not the rear belt. But take the tensioner completly off the belt and try running it full throttle for a few seconds and see what happens.

my pro 3 vibrates bad when i have the belt tensioner on. i took it off and threw it in the tool box.

the slop could be cause of the dogbones. you could upgrade to cvd's (i would if your racing), and if you want to get rid of more slop, try using ball diffs (only if you race, if not its a waste of money).
