Can anyone give me some info on some sites for this. i have an original clod buster from '88 i think that i have been wanting to do this with for a long time. What axels would be the best, suspension types, motors, tube cages, etc.
thanks for the help! :D

Best axles for crawling are the axles out of your Clodbuster. Lock up the diffs and you're good to go.
Best suspension type would be a custom 4 link setup. Either build it yourself... there is lots of info on this forum, as well as many others (clodtalk.com, r c m t .net)... or you could by a ready made chassis and suspension from Thunder Tech, rcguy.com, rc4wd.com, or many others.
Check out some of the threads in the monster truck forum here on RCCA and visit some other Clod and monster truck related forums and sights. There's alot of info out there.

MrHorspwer: When I go onto r c m t.net it never works for me even after I register on that other forum system. Do you have any clue on how I can get on there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone!
Yeah I'm going to make my next one. I've never had a 4 link clod and had no idea how it all worked so I bought a premade one. I'm planing on building a racer next with a stiffer setup and front wheel steering only and keeping the diffs open instead of locking them.
