Hey, I have had a Villian IV for awhile, I pulled the junk stingers out and put in some 15 turn quads, but those didn't work to well...

So I would like to get some good cheap toquey motors, but I am not sure what to go for. Here is my criteria:

More speed and torque than the stingers (shouldn't be hard  )
Fairly decent price (don't want to go over 100$ for two...)
Reliable, won't require too much maintence, maybe replacing brushes everyonce and awhile.

Right now I am thinking one of the graupner motors? Maybe running two speed 600s (I beleive they have the same mounting positions as 540 motors).

What motors would you suggest?

Also, would you recommend running the motors in paralell or series circuit? (depending on what you recommend..)

And would my super rooster be able to handle them or should I stay with the stock XL-1b?

And one more question, where can I purchase octura or other high performance props for my boat?

Thank you for your time,
Kyle

Oh yeah, please keep in mind that I am pretty much a noob for boats but I have plenty of experience interms of rc cars.

A coupla Titan (E-Max) motors would bolt right in & give you more speed & torque then before, plus they have a fan built into them for cooling. Or a coupla 600 motors would also fit, but for maximum speed & power out of the small can motors, get the Trinity 17turn Monster Max Pro motors, set the timing 24degrees advance, but watch your heat, or back to 0 degress timing. Run on 12 cells in series, not sure about the super rooster ESC?,,,

Alright...it sounds like the titans are the simplest and cheapest soloution...do you think I could gear up at all though? I beleive the stock pinions are 14-15 tooths...
