F1 Pro Reverse Setup

I have an older version of the F1 Reverse and I need help setting it up. When all the trims are neutral on my Tx the motor spins backwards, also to make the motor go forward I have to push the trigger forward. With the trigger all the way back the wheels goes very fast in reverse, with the trigger all the way forward the wheels go forwards but not as fast as full reverse. Could my wires be switched on the motor? If so, that would not solve my idling problem. Please help! BTW I am using a JR XR2.

sounds like you got your wires crossed.

Make sure the positive and negative wires are going to the correct terminals on the motor (usually marked)

You might want to set your throttle trim to center and switch the rev switch to norm.. And then reset your esc setup. I own a LRP super F1, one down from what you have.
