Chubby Lady 2

I am very new to electric planes, so I thought a kit would be the best beginning. I went with the Chubby Lady 2, Hobby Lobby did not put in the Mig 280 motor so I used another 280. I had it all hooked up and running, but then discovered the motor shaft was to long for the gearing attachment. Hobby Lobby sent me the new Mig 280 and now I have nothing-its dead. Battery and connections seem fine but the motor will not run. I don't know what could be the problem, possibly the Jeti 050 speed control? Someone please give me some advice

Plug in your first 280 motor and see if it works. If it does then your new motor is damaged. If it does not then the problem lies with the speed control or radio equipment.
