Hi Guys! I'm new to electric rc and all that goes with it..flew some ic powered stuff 30yrs ago and want to renter the hobby...eventually want to fly micro scale stuff like Don Srull's Wildcat, saw it on the Maxecuters page,BUT, where do I start? Theres so much info out there I'm confused as to what to get as a starter setup..the litestick?..maybe the FD one? $ is an object, and i would like the electrics to be transferable to another plane, cause I know I'll crash it..oh yeah,I have to teach myself....I know I'm asking alot, but this has to be the place to get some good sound advice..thanks.

That’s not asking a lot by any means! The litestik is what I would recommend. You can get the litestik, hitec focus III with receiver and servos and a 25 minute charger for well under $200. This would be a great place to start as the radio will transfer to any slowflyer you want. The charger would more than likely be the first thing to replace but that can come when you have the money. A good peak charger like the Astro flight 110D or the FMA 250s Supernova runs about $120 or less. Pick up the litestik and follow the suggestions on building the litestik light on this board and enjoy.
After a bit you can modify the litestik to fly faster and be a little more agile. Check out mine here:

Hope this helps,

Thanks Jeffrey, more questions... :)....is the Litestick FD as easy to fly....looks better to me, also what do you think on the Merlin? a complete set up for $200 also, but a little bigger and more powerful set up, might be easier for me to keep orientated.
Thanks,any input is apprecaited.
