Over the weekend i ran across a very old Tamiya Bruiser with a 6V 4000mAh battery, charger, and a Futaba 4 channel radio with 2 servos and a reciever. the radio is model FP-T4NL. the only date that i have is on the battery is says 1983.

was this worth $75 or did i get riped off:( ?

It needs a little work so if anyone has a manuel for this i would like to make a deal with you for it or something.

thanks, wilson

Jeez, you paid whole $75 for that? Take a look on ebay and see what people really pay for them (Look up Hilux or Bruiser or Blazing Blazer: Basically the same but for body and wheels/tires, and I think the front hubs)....

Now that you've picked your jaw up off the floor, hope the guy that sold it to you doesn't read this and come after you.

For the manual http://www.tamiyaclub.com/manual.asp?id=48

no i dont think he has anymore. i was down in this place called rutlidge, mussori. it is a big flea market where people bring the old stuff that they dont want. i also picked up a chainsaw engine that i think i might tear apart and try to build a 1/4 or 1/5 car. dont know yet.

All the truck needs is a front and rear bumper. new body and maby a new motor. do they make parts for this truck anymore??

ill look around and see what i come up with, i might even have some pics tomarrow.

well as for the chainsaw engine, it is too big. maby a weedeater engine will work.

Vintage and rare RC cars are like restoring classic cars: Get it all together, complete, stock, without hop-ups, modifications, or hacks, and don't run it. the better the condition, the higher the value. Hang on to it for a while, it's value will only increase.

What is nasty about the body? If it is jsut the paint i belive people are striping it off with brake fluid, and since it is a hard shell you can fix scratches and what not with automotive body filler i.e. bondo.
