So you want an electric? (you posted in the electric section) On road or off road? RTR or kit? Be more specific.

What happened to your other RC's?

I dunno. HPI's aren't all that great, but there's nothing really wrong with them.

Why not get an on road?

You're lazy (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0093p?&C=CAA&P=0) Tower has a section devoted to electric off road kits. I suggest getting an e-pede from Ultimate hobbies (http://www.ultimatehobbies.com)
I apoligize if these don't work. This is the first time i've posted url's. Hope they work!:)

And if you don't like working on them, don't get anything offroad with a belt drive system. You're just asking for a belt to break when you get a pebble in it. In reality, offroad cars frequently require more work to keep running than on road cars. You may want to seriously look at on road cars if you don't like working on things.

I never said i didnt like working on things.. only on that electric that broke every day.. i love working on cars.. its half the hobby!
I have never ordered from Ultimate Hobbies and i dont plan to.. i usally i order from tower hobbies.. because it has everything i need. BTW whats that online shop that has a canadian section? It costs a lot for Tower to ship to canada...

Why don't you want to order from Ultimate Hobbies? They have some of the best prices around for cars! I don't know what their international shipping is like though......

I have an Electric Stampede from traxxas, and it is sweet... the only things that I have broken are the servo and the idler gear, that is about $30 there...

i own one an u bet they do! It's fast, easy, relieble, lol-i sound like a salesman. Anyway if u get an e, the only thing u have to worry about is parts breaking, which u can always upgrade. but besides that, the electronics are fine.

Just my $.02

my friend got a E and his dad got a T-maxx and they are always in peices because they break easily... the E is more durable, but they both switched to a nitro stampede

Well, I was looking into an emaxx, but I soon found out that all the stuff that I would need to make it a reliable basher would make it end up at around 500$ USD. :(

I would suggest buyings an e pede kit. Add your own electronics, a few hopups (bearings, al idler, etc.) and go from there. :)

How good can you drive? That has a lot to do with breaking parts. My emaxx has held up great. I've only broken one lower A arm and a few bumper screws and it's almost 2 years old. I had good luck with the HPI MT's. The belts are a little less desireable but they work. Pedes like to eat spur gears but they are pretty tough. An AE T3 would be a good choice or even a Losi xxx-t. Pedes are lowest in price though. Look on Tower for the RTR combos, that is your best bet imo. Good luck

I would tell you to get an electric stampede kit, but they quit making them i think. I got one a while back from tower hobbies for $77 shipped to my door, and if you willing to spend $400 then you could hop it up a lot. They are very durable and go good, and i would not hesitate to buy one. You could probably find a cheap one with some good electronics and everything pretty cheap on e-bay.
