I just bought a 2002 Dodge ram body for the HPI Savage. I am going to turn it into the General lee. I am putting a carbon fiber hood on it. My question is where can i find the confederate flag for a sticker or something. I want to put it in the bed of the truck so it has to be big enough.

BoDuke: I assumed by your name that you know that "The General" was a 1969 Dodge Charger, Not a pick up truck. Unckle Jessie had a F100 pick up truck, and Cousin Daisy had a Jeep CJ-7. Also you should know that "The General" was not a rice mobile. It had no carbon fiber crap on it. Heck it didn't even have a AM/FM radio in it let alone a 8 track player or casette deck! Only a lowly CB radio!

If you realy want a true General Lee body BoLink has them for 200 mm touring cars/Pan cars!

lol... geez dude. I think everyone knows the General Lee is a charger. And Carbon Fiber.... was it even around back then? Definitely not readily available.

Why is something a rice mobile because it has carbon fiber? You *do* know that a composite such as kevlar or carbon fiber can be beneficial to dropping a cars overall weight, right?

I'm not looking to turn this into a full blown argument, but theres a few things about being polite, and not ignorant, that you need to learn. Good day. :)

Does anyone know what happens to the driver when their car with a carbon fiber hood gets in a high speed frontal collision?

Hint: Its not pritty.

Do a search on google to find a good image of the flag. Save it and resize it in some photo editing software. Then print it out and tape it to the top of the body. Mask the inside of the body and then trace the flag, peel, and paint.

Good luck!

Awesome dude. Can't wait to see the finished product! Screw the norm. A charger on a savage just wouldnt look right (least to me) and besides, this is years later, maybe they'd be driving a Dodge P/u Now?
